James is a back-to-back winner of the Seattle Best Blues Guitar Player award and the same as a runner up in MEMPHIS, the blues capital of the world! He is accompanied by professional bass and drum players for a resulting rock, blues sensation with electric guitar soaring solos!

Lena and Robert (aka “The Bear”) are becoming a regular at Kana and are well known to and loved here in our fair city! They play a great and quite large set of covers for soft rock, country and blues songs that we all know and love!

This band trio veteran musicians, led by guitar virtuoso Pat, play guitar-driven 60’s and 70’s popular rock&roll and blues music, including a wonderful “surf-music” set! A very special regular band at Kana!

This is one of Kana’s “highlights of the year” on our stage, that occurs only a couple times/year! Chris’ masterful guitar and vocals on his originals and rock covers are amazing! In the early 2000’s he opened for Dave Matthews and even toured and played on-stage with Kid-Rock!

This trio of local science teachers are the best rehearsed band in town that play covers and originals of acoustic guitar "unplugged" soft rock style music and create great three part vocal harmonies!

5-10pm - BRITTANY JEAN

This is a first time on Kana's stage for this amazingly talented traveling singer-songwriter from small town WA in the North Cascades. She is an extraordinary and multi-dimensional acoustic guitar player with the voice of an angel! ...a cross between Joni Mitchell and Emmy Lou Harris! She's touring on her new album, recorded in Nashville, that should win her a Grammy!

Nick is a popular big stage singer-songwriter out of Seattle that has been calling Kana his favorite satellite small venue and what a talent! His modeled acoustic-electric guitar and finger-style playing along with Dionysian vocals are so wonderful and hypnotic!

This house band of dueling acoustic guitars play unplugged versions of a diverse array of rock, blues and Seattle grunge music. Daren, on vocals, has the best male singing voice around and no one else does acoustic covers of Led Zeppelin like they do!
